Colts' Daniel Jones breaks one Peyton Manning record, ties another image

Daniel Jones just keeps on doing his thing.

The Indianapolis Colts continue to be the beneficiaries.

In the process, Jones has broken one Peyton Manning record and tied another.

Both feats came thanks to a 31-27 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in Week 6, with the Colts improving to 5-1.

The Manning record Jones broke is for points through six games of a season for the Colts. Manning's best-ever Indy point total through six weeks was 193. This year's Colts have 194 points through six weeks.

The tie: Manning had previously been the only Colts QB to have at least five wins in the first six games of a season since 2000. Jones has now joined that club.

Jones threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns (22-of-30) with an interception on Sunday. He also put together a 66-yard game-winning drive.

He's continued to be an impressive revival in Indy after his bust status with the Giants and brief learning foray to the Vikings.

If Jones keeps playing like this, with the skill players around him shining, too, the Colts can play with anyone.
