The Houston Texans need more out of all their wide receivers in the divisional round game versus the New England Patriots, including from Xavier Hutchinson.
The Texans are operating without their best wide receiver on Sunday, as Nico Collins was ruled out before kickoff due to a concussion suffered last week.
That said, Hutchinson is off to a quiet start in the contest versus New England on Sunday afternoon.
Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Xavier Hutchinson playing today?
Yes, Hutchinson is active and healthy, and he saw a target on the Texans' opening drive but couldn't connect with quarterback C.J. Stroud.
There wasn't much of an opportunity for anyone on Houston's offense to get going on the first drive, as it went three-and-out.
Conditions are also very poor in New England, so throwing the football might be difficult, so temper expectations for the veteran wideout.
