Ahead of the Week 12 game between the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills, there are three intriguing fantasy football options for owners to consider starting.

In Houston, running back Woody Marks has taken the reins of the Texans' backfield over Nick Chubb, and tight end Dalton Schultz has slowly become a bigger part of the Texans' offense as the season has progressed.

For the Bills, second-year wide receiver Tyrell Shavers came out of nowhere in Week 11 and put together the best game of his young career, instantly putting Shavers on the fantasy football radar.

But should any of these players be in your lineup in Week 12?

Let's find out.

Woody Marks start or sit advice

Slowly but surely, the rookie running back has worked his way into a bigger role this season, and it now appears he has completely jumped Chubb on the depth chart.

Marks tallied a whopping 19 touches in the Week 11 contest, while Chubb, who began the year as the Texans' starter, had just three. That was the second straight week in which Marks operated as the clear lead back for Houston.

With a changing of the guard now apparent with Marks becoming the lead back, he is very much on the starting radar moving forward.

Since Week 4, when Marks' usage began to see an uptick, he ranks as RB26 overall in fantasy points per game among running backs, which makes him a weekly flex option.

Marks also draws a juicy matchup this week against a Bills defense ceding the second-most fantasy points per game to the position.

That only further cements Marks as a strong flex option for Week 12.

Verdict: Start

Tyrell Shavers start or sit advice

Shavers tallied four receptions for 90 yards and a score in Week 11. The yardage output was more than he had totaled in the previous nine games combined.

Shavers saw an increased role because of the benching of Keon Coleman, who is expected to be inactive yet again in Week 12.

That said, this is a tough matchup against a Texans defense giving up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

Adding to that, Shavers remains a total wild card because he only has one good game under his belt in his entire career.

Shavers is worth a speculative add this week, but we need to see more out of him before trusting him in lineups, especially in a tough matchup like this one.

Verdict: Sit

Dalton Schultz start or sit advice

Schultz got off to a slow start this season but has ranked as TE5 overall since Week 7, which makes him a borderline TE1 and every-week starting option at this point.

In case you're afraid about starting him with Davis Mills under center, Schultz has ranked as TE5 overall over the last three weeks when Mills has played in place of C.J. Stroud, who exited the Week 9 contest early with a concussion and hasn't played since.

The Texans have been stingy against opposing tight ends, with Houston giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points per contest.

However, with the shallow pool of tight ends in fantasy football, that is not enough to stop us from starting Schultz this week.

Verdict: Start
