The Houston Texans have been through a lot of injury struggles this season.
Joe Mixon hasn't played yet, and C.J. Stroud is now in concussion protocol. One of the major, underrated absences has been Tank Dell.
The young and talented wide receiver also hasn't taken the field yet in 2025.
It's not a sure thing at all that Dell will make it on the field at all. But the 3-5 Texans will have to get a move on to make even a longshot Dell return matter for their chances.

When is Tank Dell coming back?
Dell might not play at all in 2025.
The speedy Dell dislocated his left kneecap and tore ligaments in that knee in December of last season.
Dell turned 26 earlier this season, but he didn't get to celebrate his birthday on the field.
Through 25 NFL games, Dell has 98 catches for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Modern medical technology should get Dell back on the field eventually.
But as far as how soon? That's still not certain.
It's a tough spot for the Texans to be. They expected to have a great season, but they've also had absences from wideouts Nico Collins and Christian Kirk. Stroud hasn't taken the leap that many hoped for, and now he's hurt, too.
And with Mixon missing, the running game hasn't been its best self, either.
The second half could still feature a Houston turnaround, but all the injuries have certainly mucked things up a bit.
