The Houston Texans won't have kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn for a second straight week after he was ruled out for the Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Fairbairn is dealing with a right quadriceps injury he suffered in the Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Fairbairn has not practiced since then and was officially ruled out on Friday.
In his stead, the Texans will deploy veteran kicker Matthew Wright, who also had the job last week. Wright made his lone field goal and extra point attempts in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here's what we know about Fairbairn's status for Week 12.
When is Ka'imi Fairbairn coming back?
We don't have a concrete answer to this question yet, unfortunately.
But, based on the fact that Fairbairn didn't practice at all this past week, it's fair to think he might not be ready to go in Week 12, either, especially with the Texans having a short week ahead of a Thursday night tilt against the Buffalo Bills.
We'll know more about Fairbairn on Monday, when the Texans drop their first injury report of the week.
