A win on Thursday Night Football would be absolutely huge for the Houston Texans against the Buffalo Bills.
The Texans enter the night at 5-5. They're the No. 8 spot in the AFC, one slot behind the last playoff spot.
The Bills are 7-3. They hold the top wild card spot, the No. 5 seed.
It's Week 12, so there's still some time to make a move, but it's a big swing game to be sure.

Texans tiebreaker scenarios in Week 12 for AFC Wild Card
Here's the basic key: Head-to-head is the first tiebreaker in the wild card standings. If teams end up with the same record and have played one another, the team that won the head-to-head matchup gets the higher spot in the standings.
Houston wouldn't make up all its ground on Buffalo with a win, but it'd get close.
ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime shared this stat:
"The Texans enter the game with 26% odds to make the playoffs, according to ESPN Analytics; if Houston wins Thursday, it'll increase its odds to 37%. A loss would drop it down to 15%."
It's very realistic to expect the Texans to be sitting down near that 7th and final spot. And if it happens to be between them and the Bills, they'd love to have that tiebreaker on their side.
