The Houston Texans will open up their playoff campaign against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night, and they could be doing so without one of their key players down the stretch.
Texans RB Jawhar Jordan is the only Texan to NOT practice today (ankle).

Houston Texans might be without one of their contributors in the backfield against the Steelers
Jordan has notched 193 rushing yards in four games, rotating snaps with Nick Chubb and Woody Marks. 101 of those came against the Arizona Cardinals. He’s also grabbed seven receptions for 34 yards.
If Jordan is unavailable on Monday, Dare Ogunbowale and British Brooks could get some snaps in the backfield. The latter impressed against the Indianapolis Colts in the regular season. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry for a total of 63 yards in that game.
Jawhar Jordan was drafted by the Texans in 2024 in the 6th round of the NFL draft, and NFL writer Eric Edholm labeled his small stature as a concern when it came to handling “a significant load.” Unfortunately, it seems like Jordan is already experiencing difficulties on the injury side of things.
