The Houston Texans entered this week with a big injury concern with wide receiver Nico Collins ahead of the divisional-round game versus the New England Patriots.
Collins suffered a concussion in the wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that forced his early exit. It was immediately clear that Collins had sustained a significant concussion, as he was carted to the locker room.
It goes without saying how crucial Collins' status is for the contest, as he's far and away the Texans' best wide receiver.

Is Nico Collins playing today?
No, Collins will not be suiting up in the divisional-round game versus the Patriots.
Collins did not practice at all this past week before he was ruled out on Friday.
It's a devastating blow for the Texans, especially when you consider the Patriots have a talented secondary that will be hard enough to beat.
With Collins out, the Texans are going to need yet another big game from veteran wide receiver Christian Kirk, who went off for eight catches, 144 yards and one touchdown last week.
Along with Kirk, the Texans need wide receivers Xavier Hutchinson, Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins to do more, and the same can be said for tight end Dalton Schultz.
Houston and New England will kick off from Gillette Stadium at 3 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC.
