After starting off the season as the team's clear-cut lead back, Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb's workload has fallen off a cliff.
Over the past two weeks, Chubb has seen just nine touches while rookie running back Woody Marks has tallied 35 in what is a clear sign of a changing of the guard in Houston.
So, it comes as no surprise that Chubb is off to a quiet start in the Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Nick Chubb playing tonight?
UPDATE: Chubb is on the stat sheet early with a carry on the Texans' second drive. The carry went for seven yards.
Chubb is indeed active on Thursday night, but Marks got the nod as the starter and was the only back on the field for the first series of the game and there was no need for relief because the series ended in a three-and-out.
We'd like to say that it's just a matter of time before Chubb gets going, but we know better than that at this point.
