With Nico Collins ruled out for the divisional round game versus the New England Patriots, the Houston Texans need more out of rookie Jayden Higgins.
Collins suffered a concussion last week that forced him to sit out on Sunday. Higgins has come up big for the Texans at different points this season, so it's not crazy to think he could step up big in the divisional round.
However, Higgins is not off to an ideal start in the game versus the Patriots on Sunday. Here's why.
Is Jayden Higgins playing today?
Yes, Higgins is active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten involved yet.
And he didn't really have much of a chance to get going on the first offensive series for Houston, as the Texans went three-and-out.
Higgins will probably get involved soon, if for no other reason than necessity.
