The Houston Texans leaned on running back Jawhar Jordan while starter Woody Marks was sidelined due to an ankle injury.
Marks exited Week 15 early and that led to Jordan exploding for a 100-yard game. He wasn't as effective in Week 16, but Jordan still contributed in a significant way as he handled lead back duties over veteran rusher Nick Chubb.
However, Jordan is off to a quiet start in the Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, which was expected. Here's why.
Is Jawhar Jordan playing today?
Yes, Jordan is active and healthy, but he is now back to backup duties for the Texans with Marks back in the lineup after missing last week's game.
Jordan should still be involved in the offense, but it won't be as much as he was in recent weeks.
