The Los Angeles Chargers have already clinched an NFL playoff berth.
Their opponent on Saturday, the Houston Texans, have a chance to join them.
The Texans aren't yet secure in their playoff positioning, but they're close as Week 17 gets underway.
It'd be a brutal end to the season if Houston didn't get in, because their magic number to get a wild card spot is essentially 1.

How can the Texans clinch a playoff spot vs. Chargers?
The Texans have a simple path to clinching a playoff spot on Saturday:
Win vs. The Chargers.
If Houston wins, they're in.

The Texans have one other way to clinch a playoff spot later in Week 17 even if they lose to the Chargers.
That would be a Colts loss or tie against the Jaguars.
Houston had a chance this week to clinch the strength of victory tiebreaker against the Colts, but that'll have to wait, because doing that would've required a Chiefs win on Thursday, and they lost to the Broncos.
