Going into Week 17, Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has been one of the team's most reliable pass-catchers.
Schultz entered the game against the Los Angeles Chargers ranked second on the team in receiving yards with 685, and tied for third with three touchdowns.
That said, Schultz is not off to an ideal start in the Week 17 game against the Chargers. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Dalton Schultz playing today?
Yes, Schultz is active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten going in the offense yet. He didn't really have much of a chance on the first drive, as the Texans only ran a few plays thanks to a deep-ball touchdown to Jayden Higgins.
Schultz might have a tough time positing solid production on Saturday, though, as the Chargers have been very effective against tight ends this season.
We'll see if Schultz can overcome that to put up a good showing in Week 17.
