The Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers will meet for an AFC matchup in Week 17 with a ton of playoff implications, and quarterback C.J. Stroud will look to lead the Texans to a victory on the road.
Stroud hasn't posted prolific numbers this year, but Houston is on a four-game winning streak, and the young quarterback has done a terrific job limiting turnovers and playing efficient football.

Stroud hasn't been a great starting option for most of the season, but he has been better over the last two weeks, ranking as the QB13 overall since Week 15.
However, Stroud is facing a tough matchup in Week 17. The Chargers' defense has been dominant all year and is allowing just 12.50 points per game to quarterbacks, which is the third-fewest. Los Angeles is also allowing the sixth-fewest passing yards per game at 179.3.
Though Stroud has his full arsenal of pass-catchers for this game, the Chargers' defense, led by brilliant defensive coordinator Jessie Minter, is going to make the Ohio State product earn everything. There are a plethora of other quarterbacks worth starting other than Stroud.
