Jordan Love exited the Green Bay Packers' Week 16 loss to the Chicago Bears in the second quarter to be evaluated for a concussion. Love never returned, and his status for the team's Week 17 matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens is now in question.
Though it's unclear whether Love will play on Saturday, head coach Matt LaFleur provided a positive update on his status.
Will Jordan Love play in Week 17?
We don't know if Love will end up leading the Packers' offense in Week 17, but based on LaFleur's update, it sounds like Love is trending in the right direction.
While speaking to the media on Tuesday, LaFleur said that Love will practice in a limited fashion on Tuesday. The Packers coach also added that backup quarterback Malik Willis will be a limited participant.
"Packers coach Matt LaFleur said both Jordan Love (concussion) and Malik Willis (shoulder) will participate in a limited fashion today," Rob Demovsky of ESPN said on X. "A good sign that Love is progressing through the protocol, but there are more steps still to get through."
It's great news that Love is going to be on the practice field to start the week, but there is still a long road ahead for the Pro Bowl quarterback to be cleared and active on gameday versus the Ravens. We'll see how the rest of the week transpires for Love.
