Tucker Kraft found himself standing in a spot very few tight ends ever stand.
At Wednesday's training camp practice, the Green Bay Packers star got a chance as a kick returner.
The Athletic's Matt Schneidman shared the news on X, and it quickly riled up the Green Bay fanbase.
It would certainly be an unorthodox route if the Packers kept giving Kraft reps back there, although it's not clear whether that's in the plans or not.
Kraft is entering his third NFL season, and he just had a career year with 50 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns. He showed himself to be skilled after the catch, and the Packers also gave him three carries.

The 6-foot-5, 259-pound Kraft has never returned a kick at the NFL level.
A native of Timber Lake, South Dakota, Kraft played his college ball at South Dakota State. He was a third-round pick in 2023.
And now the Packers might be considering how they can expand his horizons. It's certainly fun to speculate about whether it's really in the plans or not.
