The Green Bay Packers are a quality football team from top to bottom, front to back, side to side.
Except for one spot: cornerback.
It was expected to be a weakness heading into the season after departures were never really addressed, and that has proven true.
ESPN's Bill Barnwell emphasized it in a new trade needs column. For every team, he listed three positional needs. For the Packers, he only listed CB.
"I'm trying to list three positions of need for each team, but I could have written down cornerback three times for the Packers," Barnwell writes. "It's the one clear liability on the roster. Nate Hobbs has struggled badly on the outside since joining from the Raiders in free agency, and Keisean Nixon has developed some problematic habits in coverage. He is tied for the league lead with nine penalties this season."

Where things get tricky for the Packers is their trade assets.
They already shelled out ample value when they acquired Micah Parsons, so they may be hesitant to deal away too much more in terms of draft capital now.
That could lead to them putting a wide receiver into play. That's been viewed as the position Green Bay may trade from dating back to the summer.
At this point, the Packers are mostly healthy at WR, save for Jayden Reed, so they potentially could afford to send one out.
Romeo Doubs is the popular name all along, and Barnwell also mentions Dontayvion Wicks as a possible mover.
It's clear, though, however they do it, that the Packers need to address the cornerback position, and with the deadline on Nov. 4, there isn't a lot of time to do it.
