Packers' Micah Parsons feared to have suffered season-ending injury image

The Green Bay Packers have reportedly lost linebacker Micah Parsons for the rest of the season.

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Packers fear that Parsons has a torn ACL, which will knock him out for the rest of the 2025 campaign.

Florio adds that Parsons still has to underdo an MRI to confirm the issue.

"Per source, the Packers believe Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL. Pending confirmation with an MRI," Florio reported.

Parsons suffered his knee injury in the third quarter and it was immediately feared to be something significant, as it was a non-contact injury.

This is obviously a devastating blow for the Packers, who received a significant boost from Parsons after acquiring him in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys before the start of the season.

Not having Parsons the rest of the season badly hurts the Packers' defense and chances of competing for a Super Bowl.

Assuming the initial diagnosis holds up, Parsons finishes his first season in Green Bay with 12.5 sacks, 39 combined tackles and 26 quarterback hits.

Now, the question is: will Parsons be ready for the start of 2026?

The recovery timeline for a torn ACL is usually about nine months, which would take Parsons up to September of next year.
