Matthew Golden was drafted 23rd overall by the Packers in the 2025 NFL Draft, but didn't have an ideal rookie season for a first-round pick.
He had no touchdowns in the regular season, with just 29 catches for 361 total receiving yards in 14 regular-season games.
On Saturday night, Golden made the wait well worth it, scoring his first touchdown at the time when it mattered most.

Golden took that to heart, coming up big late in the fourth quarter against the Bears by getting his first career touchdown.

Up until that point, he had no receptions in the game, but was able to put together an impressive play to break several tackles and get into the endzone for a 36-yard touchdown.
That play extended the Packers' lead to 11, with 6:36 remaining in the fourth quarter.
