Malik Willis has done all he can do.
The Green Bay Packers' backup QB will be a free agent after this season. And there's a legitimate chance someone signs him to be their starting quarterback in 2026.
Willis has filled in for Jordan Love the last game and a half, and he's had sporadic action throughout his two seasons in Green Bay.
Each time Willis takes the field, he looks like a starter.
He has thrown six touchdowns and ran for three more in his time with the Packers. He also hasn't thrown an interception.
After Saturday's loss to the Ravens, Willis was asked about his free agency, if he had a pitch for interested teams.
"What you put on tape is your pitch," Willis responded during his press conference.

What Willis has put on tape is impressive.
He's a dynamic runner and an accurate passer with a strong arm.
He had a solid pedigree out of college but couldn't stick in Tennessee with the Titans. Sometimes it takes a change of scenery for everything to click, and that appears to have happened with Willis.
Now we wait to see if another team chooses to give him a chance as a starting quarterback in the NFL. He very well might be ready.
