Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love got to face his mentor, Aaron Rodgers, on Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

And in such a highly anticipated matchup, Love could do no wrong.

Seriously, Love may have played the most spotless QB game in the history of the NFL.

He checked these five boxes, which according to OptaStats have never all been done in the same game before:

  • Completed 20 consecutive passes
  • Threw for 350 yards
  • Threw 3 TDs
  • Had no turnovers
  • Took no sacks.

Love's final line was 29-for-37 for 360 yards with the three scores. Two of the touchdowns, and 143 yards, went to tight end Tucker Kraft.

The other TD went to rookie Savion Williams.

Love benefited from the return of Christian Watson, who in his first game of the season caught four passes for 85 yards.

The Packers were victorious, too, 35-25.

It'll likely be the only chance Love gets in his career to play against Rodgers, the QB he sat behind for three years in Green Bay. If that's indeed the case, Love certainly made about as loud a statement as he possibly could've.

Rodgers and the Steelers just couldn't quite keep up with Love when he was dealing the way he was. It must've been a fun night to be the mentee.
