The Green Bay Packers are beginning to show exactly why they’re considered one of the best teams in the NFL. Quarterback Jordan Love has a lot riding on this season, and how he performs will play a major role in determining the team’s success.

“It’s Jordan Love time. Only one offensive player on the roster (two-time Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins), and three players in total, predate the quarterback’s time with the team. He’s on a top-of-market deal, so the onus is on him to start lifting his teammates rather than the other way around. The roster’s still solid, but competitions at left tackle and receiver will help set the course for how far the team can go, and Love’s work through any bumps at those spots will be key,” SI’s Albert Breer wrote.

Love has been vocal this season, and he believes rookie Matthew Golden is about to get a major opportunity.

“Jordan Love went through his two missed deep balls to Matthew Golden and took blame for both misses. Also added that because of Jayden Reed’s injury… ‘There’s definitely gonna be opps for other guys, but definitely M.G.’” Packers insider Matt Schneidman wrote.

Heading into this week’s matchup, Love’s game plan may already be taking shape—especially considering how well the Cleveland Browns have shut down the run so far this season.

“The Browns faced Derrick Henry and Chase Brown this year and allowed 66 yards on 32 carries combined. Jordan Love gonna sling that rock,” Packer Report’s Eli Berkovits posted.

Love will have every opportunity to air it out on Sunday. However, Josh Jacobs could be the X-factor if the Packers want to challenge the Browns' stout run defense.

If Love does come out slinging the rock, he has a real chance to torch Cleveland’s defense—putting the spotlight on him for the rest of the season. While there’s been no official confirmation of the Packers’ game plan, it certainly feels like a big day for Jordan Love is on the horizon.
