Is Matthew Golden playing tonight? Packers' WR injury status in question for Monday Night Football image

The Green Bay Packers get to round out Week 10 of the NFL season with an exciting Monday Night Football matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Packers just might not be at full strength for the big clash.

Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden is one of the question marks.

The receiving corps is also facing legitimate injury concerns for Dontayvion Wicks and Savion Williams.

That trio all has entered Monday with a questionable designation.

Is Matthew Golden playing tonight?

Matthew Golden is officially questionable for Monday night, but reading between the lines, his status looks in serious danger.

Golden is listed with a shoulder injury. His practice report for this past week looked like this:

  • Thursday: Limited practice
  • Friday: Did not practice
  • Saturday: Did not practice

That isn't the trend line that you want.

The Packers had better news from Wicks and Williams, who were at least both limited participants in Saturday's practice.

It's always hard to know if a team is just playing it safe on a given day, but two DNPs in a row for Golden point to a potential absence.

The Packers have Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs healthy, which makes Jordan Love's outlook for Monday night just fine. But they are missing tight end Tucker Kraft to injury already, too, so it'd be good for at least a few of this iffy WRs to be on the field.
