The Green Bay Packers had not one but two uncertainties at the quarterback position going into this week.
Not only was quarterback Jordan Love uncertain to play because of a concussion, but backup signal-caller Malik Willis was also on the injury report because of a shoulder issue.
While Love has been downgraded from questionable to out for the contest, Willis is questionable to play after taking part in practice on a limited basis twice this week.
Here's the latest injury update on Willis ahead of kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night in Week 17.
Is Malik Willis playing tonight?
While Willis remains questionable, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Willis is indeed expected to play and start for Green Bay on Saturday with Love out.
"ESPN Sources: Packers QB Jordan Love is out Saturday night vs. The Ravens due to his concussion and Malik Willis is expected to start," Schefter reported.
We'll get final confirmation on Willis' status around 6:30 p.m. ET, when the Packers and Ravens drop their lists of inactives.
Malik Willis start or sit advice
Willis hasn't started a game since Week 3 of last season, which was his second of two consecutive starts after he also took the field for an injured Love in Week 2.
In those contests, Willis ranked as QB10 overall, which made him a borderline starter in 10-12 team leagues.
Willis has multiple ways to turn in a strong fantasy performance, as not only can he score points with his arm, but he's also a major threat to run.
We also saw Willis play well last week in place of Love, with the Packers backup completing 9-of-11 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown while adding 10 carries for 44 yards in just one half of play.
With a history of solid play in place of Love, and with a matchup against a Ravens defense ceding the 13th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, you can make a case for starting Willis this week.
