The Green Bay Packers have a major question mark at running back going into their Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears, as Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable.

Jacobs is dealing with knee and ankle issues ahead of the contest and did not practice at all this week before drawing a questionable tag.

During the week, Jacobs hinted that he would play, although he was walking with a significant limp and was wearing a brace on his knee.

“For me, it’s harder to watch games than it is to play hurt," Jacobs told reporters on Tuesday.

Ahead of kickoff on Saturday night, the Packers did not announce any roster moves. Here's what that means for Jacobs.

UPDATE: We finally have confirmation, as NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Jacobs will be active on Saturday night.

Original Text

The Packers did not elevate a running back off their practice squad for the Week 16 game against the Bears, which is a great sign for Jacobs.

If the Packers were worried about Jacobs' status or didn't think he would play, they would have needed a third running back with only two others on the 53-man roster.

At this point, we can pretty much lock Jacobs in, although we'll still need to confirm his status when the inactives drop around 6:50 p.m. ET.
