It took three-plus quarters, but Green Bay Packers superstar linebacker Micah Parsons has his first sack with the team.
The sack came in the fourth quarter of the Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions and it was all effort from Parsons.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff was rolling right to escape pressure, but Parsons was simply too fast to get away from. He eventually ran down Goff and took him down from behind to record his first sack of the game.
Safe to say, Parsons looks just fine after playing despite being questionable with a back injury.

Parsons' impact has been immediately felt in his first game with the Packers, even without playing the majority of snaps.
The Packers have moved Parsons all around, but he has been especially tough to stop when coming up the middle as he did on that play. He has put pressure on Detroit's offense all game long.
Green Bay's defense has been outstanding against a Lions offense that has been elite for the past few seasons. Late in the fourth quarter, the Lions have just six points and look like a shell of the team that beat Green Bay twice in 2024.
Just wait until Parsons is playing more snaps.
