Wow, what a way to end it.

The Detroit Lions appeared to have the stop they needed to get the ball back down seven.

Instead, a flag came out.

Lions cornerback Rock Ya-Sin was called for defensive pass interference against Eagles WR A.J. Brown.

It was a first down that allowed the Eagles to run out the clock.

And NBC color commentator Cris Collinsworth didn't like it.

"Come on. That is terrible. That's an absolutely terrible call that is going to decide this football game," Collinsworth said on the broadcast.

Why was Lions' Rock Ya-Sin called for pass interference?

The call came because of hand-fighting that was going on between the Detroit defensive back and A.J. Brown.

Did it rise to the level of DPI? 

Probably not.

But that evidently is what the referee saw. 

There may have been the tiniest hold at the top of the route.

It was definitely ticky-tack, at best. 

The Lions never got a chance to take one final offensive drive at tying the game. They didn't get the ball back.
