Amon-Ra St. Brown was dealing with an injury this week, but it doesn't look like it'll stop the Detroit Lions' star receiver from playing on Christmas against the Minnesota Vikings.

That doesn't mean St. Brown will be happy about playing Thursday, though.

This week on his personal podcast, St. Brown shared his thoughts about playing on Christmas in general.

And he's not a fan.

"I'm not a fan," St. Brown said. "The two biggest holidays in the United States, we played on both of them."

St. Brown doesn't yet have any children.

"If I had kids, I'd be even more pissed," he said. "You can't spend time with your family or see your kids open gifts. That's something that a lot of parents love to see and can't wait for. I don't like it, and I'm not even a father yet... Especially for the ones who are traveling."

It's a relatively fair and measured take for St. Brown.

Some fans will point out that these guys get paid a lot of money and should play when the leagues want them to, but it's not like St. Brown is planning on skipping the game. He's just expressing an honest opinion.

It's one that LeBron James has agreed with recently, as well.

There are three NFL games and five NBA games on Christmas. That's a lot of entertainment for sports fans coming at the expense of family time for all those players, coaches and staffers.
