One thing to consider for NFL teams every season is how many miles they will travel between games, as that can lead to extra wear and tear on the bodies of players in what is already a long, grueling season.

Thankfully, the Detroit Lions won't have to worry about that.

According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, the Lions will travel a total of 11,411 miles in 2025, which amounts to the fourth-lowest total in the NFL. Only the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens will travel less.

The Lions' average trip will be 1,267 miles, and the team will end up crossing 14 time zones. As compared to last year, the Lions had to travel nearly 3,000 miles more (14,328).

A big reason for the Lions' low mileage has to do with the fact that they only have one west-coast trip to make in 2025, which comes in a game against the Los Angeles Rams (3,975 miles).

Rounding out the four-longest trips the Lions will make are the games against the Philadelphia Eagles (2,026 miles), the Kansas City Chiefs (1,281 miles) and the Minnesota Vikings (1,083 miles).

In case you forgot, here's a look at every opponent the Lions will play at home and on the road in 2025:

Home games: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Road games: Bears, Packers, Vikings, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams

While we know who the Lions will face and how many miles they will travel, we do not have the exact dates and times for every game on their schedule.

That will be released on Wednesday, May 14.
