Rather, they wait an extra day and get to play on Monday, Sept. 22 as the Monday Night Football game.

The Lions' next game is on Monday, Sept. 22, when they take on the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
It'll kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET.
The MNF game will be broadcast as usual on ESPN.
