The Detroit Lions finally exercised their demons against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, beating the reigning AFC North champions by a score of 38-30.

Entering Monday night, the Lions had just one win in seven meetings with the Ravens and had never won a game in Baltimore.

But none of that mattered in Week 4, as the Lions were clearly the better team on both sides of the ball in what was a convincing win over one of the best teams in the NFL.

Detroit's offense was firing on all cylinders and the defense sacked Lamar Jackson seven times, joining the 2021 Pittsburgh Steelers as the only teams to ever accomplish that difficult feat.

Now, the Lions sit with a 2-1 record and are tied for first place in the NFC North with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. Detroit will look to grab its third straight win in a Week 4 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Let's see how much movement the Lions experienced in the NFL power rankings of experts after topping the Ravens on Monday.

NFL power rankings Week 4

Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: 7 (+1)

Iyer: "The Lions found their offensive roar after being defanged in Green Bay with no issues rolling up big plays on the Bears and the Ravens. Jared Goff playing well on the road to beat Baltimore with mad help from the running backs is an even bigger confidence builder."

Frank Schwab, Yahoo Sports: 5 (no change)

Schwab: "The Lions have 90 points in their past two games. Remember after one week when everyone thought their offense was going to be much worse? Not with this talent. The Lions are still a Super Bowl contender."

Nate Davis, USA TODAY: 6 (+4)

Davis: "They don't appear to be lacking for much since a Week 1 face plant at Lambeau. The offense is once again in high gear − 90 points over the last two games − while Monday night was also a reminder that DE Aidan Hutchinson is back for a team that allegedly lost too many coaches in the offseason."

Kristopher Knox, Bleacher Report: 5 (+2)

Knox: "Detroit may or may not remain the team to beat in the NFC North, but Lions fans should feel good about their chances after moving to 2-1."
