The Detroit Lions' 2025 schedule has been released and it's time for us to make our record prediction for the reigning NFC North champions.

The Lions were given a total of five primetime games for this coming season, with those contests coming against the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

Detroit will also play on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with those games being against the Packers and Vikings, respectively.

In all, the Lions will play a grand total of 11 games against teams that made the playoffs in 2024, giving them an incredibly challenging schedule.

Let's make a prediction for how it all unfolds!

Lions 2025 record prediction

Record prediction: 11-6 (first place in NFC North)

While we have the Lions taking a step back in terms of their record, we believe the same will happen with the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers. The Bears will take a step up, but not enough to challenge for the division or make the postseason.

The Lions will carry less hype into the postseason after totaling four less wins in the regular season, but we are predicting this will be the year the Lions finally get over the hump and win the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
