Entering the week, Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa was in line for an increased role in the offense thanks to an injury to fellow wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
However, St. Brown ended up overcoming the injury in time for kickoff on Thursday night and is active, which means TeSlaa will play his typical small role in the Lions' offense.
So, it's no surprise that TeSlaa is off to a slow start in the Week 14 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Isaac TeSlaa playing tonight?
UPDATE: TeSlaa's first catch of the game comes in the second quarter and it went for eight yards.
Yes, TeSlaa is active and healthy, but he did not see a target on the opening series.
We wouldn't expect much out of TeSlaa on Thursday night now that St. Brown is on the field. He might get a catch or two, but that's about all we can expect for the rookie.
