The Detroit Lions have an injury concern with wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown to start the week.

According to Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News, St. Brown is not practicing on Wednesday, which now puts his Week 6 status in question.

"WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is not practicing for the Lions today," Bianchi reported.

It isn't clear what St. Brown is dealing with right now, but there was no indication he was battling an injury during or after the team's Week 5 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. St. Brown wasn't on the team's injury report last week, either.

All that said, it is far too early to panic about his Week 6 status, and for multiple reasons.

St. Brown is one of the toughest players in the NFL and it will take a lot for him to not play. Adding to that, St. Brown could roll out of bed on Sunday without having practiced all week and still suit up and drop 100 and a touchdown.

Throughout his four-plus years in the NFL, St. Brown has only missed two games. He has played through injuries before and even gutted it out while battling hand, foot and mouth disease.

Like we said, he's as tough as they come.

That said, it never hurts to start thinking ahead just in case the unthinkable happens and St. Brown doesn't play.

Jameson Williams would be in line for a monster target share if St. Brown doesn't go, and rookie Isaac TeSlaa would also be a big beneficiary of the Lions' No. 1 wideout's absence.

Once we get confirmation from the Lions on their first injury report on Wednesday, our attention will turn to Thursday, when Detroit will drop its second injury report of the week.
