The Denver Broncos have utilized RJ Harvey as their No. 1 back since the injury to JK Dobbins.

Dobbins, who was lost to a significant leg injury, might make it back for the later rounds of the playoffs, but right now it's Harvey's job.

However, Harvey wasn't the one taking carries on the first series of the divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is RJ Harvey playing today?

UPDATE: Harvey has just three touches through the first half, which is not the kind of workload we expected. He has split carries evenly with McLaughlin (both have two) and the Broncos have gone pass-heavy in this game, so that hasn't helped, either.

UPDATE: Harvey finally has his first carry on the third series of the game for the Broncos, but the early indication is that McLaughlin is still going to be more involved than usual.

Yes, Harvey is active and healthy, and he even saw a target that he turned into a catch for six yards on the first drive of the game.

But it was Jaleel McLaughlin who saw the first two carries, one of which he fumbled away before it was negated due to a penalty.

This is a departure from how the Broncos have done things since Dobbins' injury. We'll see if they stick with McLaughlin or got back to Harvey.
