NFL Picks, Predictions Week 7: Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants image

The Denver Broncos will return home this Sunday to face the New York Giants, a team that got off to a slow start but has found new life behind the rookie combination of quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo.

The Broncos struggled mightily on offense last week against the New York Jets, while the Giants took care of the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football. That gives the Giants 10 days of rest before this game, while the Broncos will be returning from a trip to London. That is an interesting storyline heading into this game.

This was seen as one of the more winnable games on the Broncos' schedule when it was released, but recent events have shown the Giants are no longer a complete pushover. How do the experts see this one going?

Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants Week 7 Expert Picks

Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: Broncos 24, Giants 20

"The Giants have new life with Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo leading the offense. They can stay with the Broncos with the combination of running to avoid passing too much against tough pressure and secondary play. Bo Nix will have some more hiccups to keep this close at home, but in the end, Denver wins with that defense and a better dose of the rushing attack."

Bill Bender, The Sporting News: Broncos 26, Giants 20

"The Giants have our attention. New York has averaged 23 points per game since Jaxson Dart took over as a starter, but the yardage will be tough for Cam Skattebo against a Denver defense that allows just 89 rushing yards per game. Denver is 1-2 ATS when favored by seven points or more this season."

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Broncos 28, Giants 16

"The Giants are rested after beating the Eagles last Thursday, while Denver is back from a trip overseas. Advantage, Giants. But this will be a tough test for Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. The Denver defense leads the NFL in sacks. That will be the difference as they speed him up and force turnovers."

Jeremy Cluff, Arizona Republic: Broncos 21, Giants 20

"Cam Skattebo and the Giants impressed us with their win over the Eagles, and they had a mini-bye to prepare for this game. Denver had to fly back from London. This game could be much closer than the point spread indicates."
