The Broncos appear to have struck gold with their 2024 draft choice of quarterback Bo Nix.
On Friday night, they tried to land the running back equivalent.
With the No. 60 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Denver chose R.J. Harvey, an RB out of Central Florida.

Who is R.J. Harvey?
R.J. Harvey is a 5-foot-8, 205-pound running back out of UCF.
He began his college career with a season at Virginia before transferring to UCF.
Harvey was a third-team All-American in 2024.
Before college, Harvey was a high school quarterback. As a senior, he threw for 42 touchdowns and ran for another 22.

After he transferred to UCF, he switched to running back in 2020.
It appears to have been the right decision.

Harvey closed his college career with two monster seasons.
He ran for 1,416 yards (6.3 ypc) and 16 touchdowns in 2023.
In 2024, Harvey upgraded to 1,577 yards (6.8 ypc) and 22 TDs.
