Throughout the week, Denver Broncos and New York Giants players have been exchanging blows via the press and social media.
It all started when Broncos edge rusher Jonathon Cooper commented on the Giants' rookie quarterback, Jaxson Dart.
"He’s a young guy. He’s feelin’ himself a little bit. He’s out there running around. He’s got the chain on. He’s dancing. I feel like everybody needs something, you know," Cooper told the media.
Abdul Carter claps back at Jonathon Cooper
Giants rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter responded to Cooper on X, quote-tweeting the clip from his press conference.
"Put ya 3D glasses on 🕶️," wrote the former Nittany Lion on X.
Continuing to elaborate on the Broncos-Giants beef, Carter sent a message from his locker today.
"Everything will be settled on Sunday," said Carter.
Clearly, the back and forth all week has added an extra level to this interconference matchup.
Denver's top-of-the-line defense seems excited about the prospect of taking New York's red-hot rookie quarterback down a notch.
And the Giants have Dart's back.
The Broncos shouldn't feel too comfortable, though. The Philadelphia Eagles probably felt good about themselves heading into last Thursday night's matchup in New York.
And they got blitzed by Dart's explosiveness.
In what is starting to feel like a true grudge match, the Giants head out to Denver to take on this rolling Broncos team, who have won three games in a row.
It will truly be a tough task for the 25th overall pick in the 2025 draft.
