The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Carolina Panthers in a crucial Week 16 game and wide receivers Mike Evans, Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin will all be playing in the contest.
Later in the day, the Denver Broncos will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in what is a big game for both teams as they look to grab the No. 1 seed in the conference.
The expectation is that rookie running back RJ Harvey will lead the backfield for the Broncos once again, as he has the last four games.
But should Evans, Egbuka, Godwin and/or Harvey be in your fantasy football lineups this week? Here's what we think.
RJ Harvey start or sit advice
Harvey has been the Broncos' starter since Week 11, and the returns have been solid in that span, with the rookie rusher ranking as RB12 overall, which makes him an every-week RB2 play.
While the Jaguars present a tough matchup, with Jacksonville giving up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season, Harvey's recent production and volume is more than enough to start him.
Verdict: Start
Mike Evans start or sit advice
Evans returned from injury last week and didn't miss a beat. The veteran wideout went off for six catches and 132 yards in his first game back, and there's reason to believe he could be even better now that he has a game under his belt.
The Panthers present a fairly unfavorable matchup, with Carolina surrendering the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season.
Despite that, Evans' performance last week is enough to start him in Week 16.
Verdict: Start
Emeka Egbuka start or sit advice
Egbuka looked like he was going to have a fantastic rookie season, but he hit the skids after Week 10, even with the Bucs not being at 100% at wide receiver.
Egbuka did rebound in Week 15, tallying four catches for 64 yards, but that production isn't exactly something to write home about.
With Evans and Godwin both healthy, and with tight end Cade Otton making his return to the field this week, we prefer to keep the rookie on the bench with so many mouths to feed on Sunday.
Verdict: Sit
Chris Godwin start or sit advice
While he did score a touchdown last week, Godwin was the least productive wide receiver between he, Evans and Egbuka in terms of yardage output. He also saw fewer targets and receptions than Evans and Egbuka.
Godwin posted OK but not great numbers in the two weeks before that and we just simply haven't seen enough out of him to trust him in a big spot this week.
Verdict: Sit
