Denver Broncos given early motivation for Week 15 clash with Green Bay Packers image

The Denver Broncos (11-2) have won 10 games in a row and they are 6-0 in the friendly confines of Empower Field this season. Those numbers apparently don't do much for the oddsmakers heading into Week 15.

The Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) will pay the Broncos a visit, bringing with them one of the best records in the NFC and a defense led by elite pass-rush specialist Micah Parsons. The Broncos have opened as a home underdog in this game, as DraftKings Sportsbook shows them as 1.5-point underdogs to Jordan Love and the Packers.

The Packers have not been dominant this season, but they have played solid football, particularly in recent weeks. After getting a road victory over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, they earned a hard-fought win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday that vaulted them into first place in the NFC North.

But the Broncos should be getting a bit more respect. Despite not losing a game since September 21, the Broncos are not being taken very seriously by many. Their narrow escapes and struggles with bad teams have created a large group of doubters, so Sean Payton's team is just going to have to go out on the field and continue to prove people wrong.

A win over a good Packers team that has balance on both sides of the ball would go a long way in doing that.

Josh Jacobs will come into the game tied for third in the league in rushing touchdowns with 12. Parsons is tied with Nik Bonitto for the third-most sacks in the league at 12.5. Love has the fourth-best QB rating this season at 105.4.

This will be one of the biggest tests the Broncos have faced this season, but it still seems like a team that has not lost for 10 weeks and is undefeated at home should draw a little bit more respect. The Broncos will just have to find a way to use that as extra motivation to help get up for a big game.
