The Denver Broncos have added insurance to the offensive line position and they have taken from the Dallas Cowboys to do it.
The Broncos signed tackle Geron Christian off the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys. He will come straight to the 53-man roster, giving the Broncos another offensive tackle with Alex Palczewski being shifted over to guard with Ben Powers still out.
The Broncos now have Christian and Frank Crum to back up starters Garett Bolles and Mike McGlinchey. Marques Cox, another tackle, is on the practice squad.
Christian has been all over the league since being selected by Washington in the third round of the 2018 draft out of Louisville. The Broncos will be his ninth NFL team. He has had two stints with both the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns.
Christian has made 25 starts in his career while appearing in a total of 63 games. The Broncos liked his experience as they are gearing up for their playoff push. To make room for him on the roster, the team released wide receiver Michael Bandy.

Bandy had been filling in for the injured Marvin Mims Jr., mostly as a punt returner. He had one catch for 16 yards and returned five punts for 29 yards, though he did muff one, leading to a lost fumble. Should he clear waivers, the Broncos intend to re-sign him to the practice squad.
