The Denver Broncos have the player many feel is the best cornerback in professional football... Pat Surtain II. But that leads to teams having to find a weakness, and it seems that they have.

Surtain is generally going to lock his side of the field down, leading to opponents attacking the player on the other side, Riley Moss. This is a trend that reared its ugly head last year when the Broncos played the Cincinnati Bengals late in the season and Tee Higgins had a field day, but this season, teams seem to be targeting Moss early and often in the passing game.

Those numbers aren't exactly terrible, but they're far from great.

Moss is going to see a lot of volume come his way basically every week as teams try to exploit the side of the field that he is on. Broncos fans seem to have mixed feelings about his level of play, but he has been beaten a lot. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph should consider using first-round pick Jahdae Barron or even Kris Abrams-Draine as the other boundary corner in any game where Moss begins to struggle.

This Sunday, the Broncos face the Los Angeles Chargers, who will have what will easily be the best wide receiver group the team has faced thus far. The Chargers will likely use Ladd McConkey to attack the Broncos over the middle (where they are routinely weak) and Moss will be responsible for either Quentin Johnston (who has three TD catches in two games) or the crafty veteran, Keenan Allen.

Either of those players will be capable of taking advantage of Moss, so the Broncos' coaching staff needs to be willing to make some adjustments and swap some players out if they don't want Justin Herbert to pick them apart in Week 3.
