The Denver Broncos brought in 10 players for tryouts on Friday, looking to get a leg up on some future prospects.
The most notable name brought in was that of quarterback Seth Henigan, known mostly for the time he spent at Memphis in college. He threw for over 14,000 yards with 104 touchdowns as a member of the Tigers.
Still, he went undrafted this past spring before signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was there for training camp and preseason games, but failed to make the team. He was signed to the team's practice squad but was released at the end of September.
Henigan is 6-foot-3 with good arm talent and mobility for an athlete his size. The Broncos currently have three quarterbacks on the roster, so Henigan is likely not being considered as an option for this season, but teams are quick to hand out future deals as soon as the regular season ends.

In other roster news, Marcedes Lewis, who the team released earlier this week, has cleared waivers and will revert to the Broncos' practice squad. Lewis played in four games this season, becoming the oldest player in Broncos history at 41 years old. He was used as an extra blocker and did not see a target in the passing game.

Lewis has used up all of his practice squad elevations for this season, so the Broncos may just want him as an extra coach, so to speak, in the locker room. Nate Adkins, who Lewis replaced while he dealt with an injury, will be back for the team in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers.
