The Denver Broncos may have multiple coaches on their sideline being considered for head coaching gigs in 2026.

After revamping the team's defense, it is likely that defensive coordinator Vance Joseph is going to at least be interviewed by some of the teams with a vacancy. But the Broncos expected that. What may be a bit more unexpected is that quarterbacks coach Davis Webb is also starting to generate some buzz.

When the New York Giants fired Brian Daboll earlier this season, I speculated that the team might look at Webb to fill that role in the future. While many would assume that it would be too early for that, given the fact that Webb has never held a head coaching position at any level, there may actually be something to it.

According to Jordan Schultz, Webb has a "ton of juice" going into the next coaching cycle.

The hiring of Webb by any team would be noteworthy for multiple reasons. First, Webb is only 30 years old. That would make him one of the youngest head coaches in NFL history. In addition to that, he went into coaching directly after his playing career ended in 2022. A former third-round pick of the Giants, Webb has been preparing himself for a coaching career dating back to his college playing days.

The fact that Webb is getting this kind of attention despite never being a head coach or a coordinator at any level speaks volumes for what teams around the league think of him. He has been instrumental in the development of Bo Nix and the Giants, for example, would love for him to bring his knowledge around a guy like Jaxson Dart.

If Webb isn't yanked away this offseason, the Broncos should look to increase his role in 2026 and give him an incentive to stick around for as long as possible, as there is clearly something there.
