During the Denver Broncos' Week 14 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, wide receiver Courtland Sutton moved into sixth place on the team's all-time receiving yardage list.
Sutton led the team with six receptions for 62 yards in the game, giving him one more yard than Steve Watson had in his Broncos career. Now, Sutton needs just 88 yards to surpass an even more memorable name, Ed McCaffrey.
Sutton, in his eighth season with the Broncos, signed a four-year contract extension with the team this summer. The former second-round pick now has 6,113 receiving yards during his career, which has turned out quite well for him in Denver. Those numbers would look even better if he didn't miss nearly all of the 2020 season.

The Broncos face the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 and with a strong performance, Sutton could overtake McCaffrey in that game. But if not, it's a near certainty that it will happen this season, which would move him into the top 5 all-time.
Denver Broncos all-time receiving yardage leaders
| Player | Years | Receiving Yards |
| Rod Smith | 1995-2006 | 11,389 |
| Demaryius Thomas | 2010-18 | 9,055 |
| Shannon Sharpe | 1990-2003 | 8,439 |
| Lionel Taylor | 1960-66 | 6,872 |
| Ed McCaffrey | 1995-2003 | 6,200 |
| Courtland Sutton | 2018-present | 6,113 |
| Steve Watson | 1979-1987 | 6,112 |
| Riley Odoms | 1972-1983 | 5,755 |
| Vance Johnson | 1985-1995 | 5,695 |
| Haven Moses | 1972-1981 | 5,450 |
It's an impressive mark for Sutton, as many of these numbers have stood for decades. It will be a great accomplishment to see him surpass McCaffrey and then see how much further up this ladder he can climb into team history.
For a player who has been mentioned in connection with constant trade talks for years, the Broncos have never given in on Sutton and he still remains one of the team's main leaders. He is one of the more underrated players in the league so it's nice for fans to be reminded of just how good he has actually been.
