Last week, the Denver Broncos picked up another significant win on the season over the Green Bay Packers, pushing their winning streak to 11, and clinched a playoff berth for their second straight season.

It was a back-and-forth affair all the way through, as the Broncos had to mount a comeback after falling behind by multiple possessions at one point.

During the first quarter of the game, Packers quarterback Jordan Love scrambled to the sideline and was tackled by Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga out of bounds. After the play, Hufanga pushed Love's head to the ground on his way up.

When the incident first occurred, fans expected it to draw a call for unnecessary roughness, which surprisingly did not. The question then became: would the former 49er safety be fined for his actions?

On Saturday, we now have the answer, as he was fined $11,593 by the NFL ahead of Week 16 action. This is the best-case scenario for the Broncos, as some fans speculated that Hufanga should have been suspended.

Hufanga, in his first season with the Broncos after four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, where he was part of the team's run to the NFC conference championship, which they lost to the Los Angeles Rams.

The safety has seven career interceptions and 24 pass deflections, including his career high this season with ten, and still has three more games left to play to increase that, and has an opportunity to assist in leading the Broncos to a long run in the playoffs as their defense is one of the best units in the league.
