The Denver Broncos won on Thursday Night Football to get to 8-2 on the season, and now look to maintain their division lead over the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

But, during the Thursday night game, running back JK Dobbins was dealt an injury late, and while he wound up finishing the game for the Broncos on the final drive, there is some concern about his status going forward.

After getting dealt this injury on an alleged hip-drop tackle, Dobbins took to social media to post an NSFW message to the NFL, blasting the league for their inability to properly address the hip-drop tackle.

JK Dobbins blasts the NFL over hip-drop tackles

"BAN OR ATLEAST CALL THE MUTHER (expletive) HIP DROP TACKLE!" Dobbins shared on Twitter/X.

Dobbins' frustration lies with the hip drop tackle, which, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, was the type of tackle that injured Dobbins.

With the injury to his foot on the play, Dobbins is now receiving a second opinion to determine the full extent of his injury. It's a brutal blow for Dobbins, who's dealt with unlucky injuries his entire NFL career.

This latest injury, on a hip-drop tackle, which the NFL has tried to outlaw in recent years. But, officials on the field haven't flagged players for hip drop tackles, and now Dobbins is expressing his frustration over the play's existence.

Dobbins finished the day with 18 carries for 77 yards and no touchdowns, while hauling in one catch for seven yards in the passing game. If he were to miss time, RJ Harvey would be the lead back, with Tyler Badie getting some extra work behind him.

It's a tough injury for Dobbins, who was having a strong season. The 26-year-old has been a huge piece of the Denver offense, but now, he might miss some time with a foot injury. And Dobbins is not happy, blasting the NFL over their lack of punishment for using the hip-drop tackle.
