The Denver Broncos had a bye week to start the playoffs as the AFC's No. 1 seed.
It appears Sean Payton has used the time off to add something sneaky up his sleeve.
For Saturday's playoff matchup with the Buffalo Bills, the Broncos have elevated Caleb Lohner from the practice squad, according to Zac Stevens.
Lohner is a 6-foot-7 tight end who played college basketball.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game after being a seventh-round pick in April's draft.

Lohner had a fascinating college path.
He went to BYU to play college basketball, then transferred to Baylor to keep playing hoops.
Only for his last season did he play football at Utah, in addition to continuing to play basketball.
Lohner had just four catches for 54 yards with the Utes. All four grabs went for touchdowns.
At his Pro Day, he ran a 4.69-second 40-yard dash and had a 37-inch vertical leap on his huge frame, which measured 6-7.25.
The Broncos' top-two tight ends are Evan Engram and Adam Trautman. They also have Nate Adkins, who works in more of a fullback role.
And now Lohner is up. It'll be fascinating to see how the Broncos choose to use him.
