The Micah Parsons-Cowboys saga remains unresolved. Fans eagerly hope for a resolution soon, ideally one that favors Dallas. However, if the Cowboys and their star defensive end cannot reach an agreement, there are several trade options on the table that could satisfy both teams involved in a potential deal.
On Friday, ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum shared three hypothetical trade proposals on "Get Up." All three offers showed how different teams could benefit while supplying the Cowboys with players and draft picks to aid their rebuild.
The Buffalo Bills would offer two first-round picks and defensive tackle Ed Oliver.
As Tannenbaum explained, "If I'm Buffalo with Micah Parsons, we can go beat the Chiefs. We can go beat the Ravens and get to the Super Bowl." The deal would help Dallas shore up its run defense, a known weakness over the past three seasons.
The Detroit Lions' proposal included a first-round pick, two second-round picks and young safety Brian Branch.
"If I'm the Detroit Lions with Micah Parsons at eight and Hutchinson, we're going to the Super Bowl," Tannenbaum said.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers package featured a first-round pick, running back Bucky Irving and elite run-stopper Vita Vea. "If I'm the Cowboys, I get a great running back, which I really need. I got maybe the best run stopper in the NFL and a first-round pick," Tannenbaum added.
All three trade proposals stress what the Cowboys would receive in return. As many have noted, the returns would be substantial. However, "America's Team" fans are not focused on the possibility of losing their key player.
They are united in hope for one outcome: the saga ends with Micah Parsons staying in Dallas and signing a long-term extension.
