The Dallas Cowboys finally have a solid run game for Dak Prescott to fall back on, and you better believe No. 4 is loving it.
With Klayton Adams and Conor Riley, along with Brian Schottenheimer, the masterminds of the rushing attack, led by Javonte Williams, who has 447 rushing yards and five touchdowns already, less is being asked of Dak on a play-to-play basis, not to mention what it does for Dallas' play-action game.
The Cowboys possess a top 10 run game through five weeks, and with the outside weapons in George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb, yeah, Dallas has a potent offense.
And no one loves the rushing attack imposing its will more than Dak.
"I love it, no bigger fan,” Prescott said. “Coming in early in my career, I guess the run game was so good, it's something that you took for granted, and then having a couple of years right in the past where we just weren't able to be efficient and consistent enough in the run game. Handing the ball off feels great and opens up my favorite part of playing quarterback, play action. The biggest fan of it.”

Cowboys looking to continue offensive blitz vs. Panthers
Averaging a crisp 30.2 points per game (ranks fourth), the Cowboys, as many had predicted, have been putting up points for fun.
Now it's Carolina's turn, and with Rico Dowdle stating his former team has to "buckle up," I get the sense there might be a little more feeling in this game than I previously thought.
The Cowboys are looking to put themselves over .500 for the first time this season, and win back-to-back games, and with the defense still very suspect, the pressure will once again fall on Dak and the offense to win a shootout.
Oh, and the run game will play a huge role, too.
